Our own Wendy Thon's work will be in an exhibition at the Lisa Harris Gallery from July 7 – August 15. The opening reception will be held on Thursday July 7, 6:00-8:00 pm
"31 for 32 celebrates the gallery’s 32nd year in our Pike Place Market location with an exhibition featuring works by all 31 gallery artists. Works in the exhibition highlight the gallery’s commitment to West Coast artists, many of whom pay homage to the beauty of the Pacific Northwest landscape. Painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media works present the diversity in technique, approach and creative vision that has been vital to Lisa Harris Gallery’s history."

Seattle Art Museum Gallery presents: Contemporary Printmakers
Our own Kate Sweeney's work is being featured among five other artists in Seattle Art Museum this month.
"See what Seattle’s contemporary printmakers are creating at SAM Gallery's upcoming show, coinciding with Seattle Art Museum’s exhibition Graphic Masters.
Learn about methods and print processes used today that reference historical art-making methods."
An opening reception will be held Thursday, June 9th from 6–7:30 pm. Free and open to the public. The show runs through July 7, 2016.

McGraw Square Activation by Erica Bush
McGraw Square is the terminus site of the Monorail, the South Lake Union Trolly as well as an entrance point to the Westlake Light Rail Station which makes it a critical transportation hub in Seattle. At present the site is barren and under-utilized even though it's one of the only public spaces in the neighborhood. I have been creating images such as those included here as well as budget guidelines to communicate how this space could be improved upon and create a true green oasis within the densest part of Seattle. These images will be presented to non-profits, city agencies and private interests surrounding the site to build buy in and greater understanding of the space so that such improvements can move forward.
